I got great value for my money at this lovely hostel. The room was comfortable with private cube beds and all the amenities I needed. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and the beach. The staff were friendly and always kept the place clean.
The breakfast experience could have been better with more variety and options.

Recently stayed for a few nights at Moon Fools in Panglao. The private double room was comfy, spacious, and had air conditioning. The shared toilets were always clean with hot showers. The location is perfect, close to Alona beach, restaurants, bars, and tour starting points. Free breakfast had limited choices, but was good for a hostel. Great internet connection and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces, making our romantic escape even more enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with anything we needed and provided excellent customer service. we loved the fact that the beds had curtains, which gave us a sense of privacy in the dorms. It was a nice touch that added to our overall comfort. the location was perfect for us as it was close to the beach and there were plenty of tuk tuks right outside, making it convenient for us to explore other areas.
The lack of a trash bin in the room or easily accessible in the hallway. This resulted in guests keeping garbage in their rooms, which was not ideal.

I had a fantastic stay at Moon Fools Hostel in Panglao. The free light breakfast was a great idea, allowing me to have a DIY breakfast that suited my preferences. The location was perfect, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and convenience stores, and just a short walk to Alona Beach. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was the best I have experienced in the Philippines. I also loved the comfortable common area, although it could get a little warm without air conditioning. The highlight for me was the free cocktails offered in the evening, which encouraged guests to socialize and make new friends. I was impressed by the hostel's commitment to the environment and their efforts to be eco-friendly, including free water refills. The WiFi was also great, and the shared toilets and shower blocks were always kept very clean.

I absolutely loved the eco-friendly focus of Moon Fools Hostel. the use of recycled and upcycled materials in the interior design was impressive. the dorm rooms were comfortable, with AC, privacy curtains, and good beds. the superior dorm with individual capsules provided excellent privacy. the bathrooms had hot water and cool design features like sinks made from car tires. the common room had ample seating and offered free breakfast and evening cocktails. the hostel also had fast and reliable wifi, perfect for digital nomads. the in-house tours offered at reasonable prices were a great addition. the location was convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Alona beach, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and shops. the nearby vegan cafe, Shaka, was a delightful find. Breakfast options were great, with porridge, toast, fruit, and delicious extras like peanut butter chocolate sauce.
Felt like a home away from home, no complaints whatsoever.
